A Few Great Men was established in 2017 by Michael Belle. Michael’s original passion for setting up the organisation was based off of the regular feedback he would often hear from service users who attended his Life Skills Workshop which was delivered in HMP Belmarsh as part of Change Grow Live (CGL). The feedback Michael would commonly hear from its service users was “ if I received these lessons and teachings in school I would’ve never had come to jail”. This was the impetus that Michael needed to build an organisation to ultimately rise up the Environments, Thoughts Words and Existence of those coming from inner-city communities and prevent many from following the pathway that aligns so many within the ever flowing streams of the homes to school to prison pipeline’.
After initially setting up A Few Great Men and delivering their first programme ‘The Young Stars Project’ in Ernest Bevin Academy and a number of other Schools and pupil referral units around London, Michael’s journey with A Few Great Men lead him back into the Prison system as the need for self-revaluation and upliftment was still prevalent within those walls.
Michael always bared a vision to build with likeminded people who could deliver works from a soul perspective, and he knew that just from the companies name ‘A Few Great Men’ it would be more than just himself required to ignite a light within the dark environments of prison establishments.
Building A Few Great Men’s Reasoning Mentors was a leading vision of Michael’s and he and his team have had firm footing in a number of prisons since 2021.
A Few Great Men have now been delivering regular courses and workshops within multiple HMP establishments and are still continuing to build and deliver works within schools and communities.
The foresight that Michael contains will continue to excel into new realms of positive engagement for all those who connect with it.
Environments
When we discuss environments, we are referring to the space where we invest most of our time - within our minds! Our physical surroundings can certainly influence our viewpoints. However, no matter where we are in this world, if the environment of our mind is not healthy and doesn't cultivate positive thought patterns, we may find ourselves trapped in the same cycles of mindset, irrespective of our physical locations.
Thoughts
Every tangible object you perceive initially began as a 'thought' in someone's mind. Thoughts transcend into substantial entities, both mentally and physically. Our thoughts serve as the genesis of our creations and we each possess the power to think! Through nurturing positive thought patterns, we hold the capability to shape the reality we desire for ourselves.
Words
Thoughts give rise to words, and what we think, believe, and name ourselves or others can travel across the universe only to return to the being that vocalised or envisioned it (Law of Attraction). Verbalising positive affirmations serves as an ideal channel to attune your higher subconscious self. Be mindful of your thoughts and words, for words are truly Swords (S-words), which possess the ability to impact you whether for better or worse.
Existence
Only Y.O.U can determine the nature of your existence. However, by consciously applying and aligning your Environment, Thoughts, and Words, you can surely manifest a positive Existence in life.
